Directions
Take off all tags of cigar box. Sand down if
necessary. Take off all hardware from box.
Measure the paper on the outside of the
cigar box to fit. Trim paper as needed.
Brush on a thin layer of decoupage to the
outside of the wood, just enough to cover area where paper will go. Lay
the paper on top of decoupage. Brush a layer of decoupage over the
paper, pressing firmly to prevent bubbles. You can brush the decoupage
over the entire box as well as the inside to seal and varnish the box.
Line the inside with the "suede-like" paper.
Hardware can be reattached to box. Drill 2
holes in the top of box. Pull 16 mm wire through hole, then string beads
finishing the handle. Glue Hearty®
Clay flower with E6000 to add dimension.
