Use the precision screwdriver to remove the hinges and latches on the cigar box, set aside. Paint the inside edges and outside of the box with the black acrylic paint. Let dry.

To decorate the outside of the box, you can tear pieces of the washi paper or cut-out designs as in the sample. Tear pieces of mulberry paper to soften the design. Arrange your papers on the dried cigar box. Use the decoupage glue/finish to adhere to the box. Decorate both sides of the cigar box. Let dry. Brush a coat of clear glossy varnish. Let dry.

Re-attach the hinges and latches to the box.
