27 – 6mm facet beads, your color choice
24” of nylon filament #7718 4721
20 – seed beads, color coordinate
Optional: lanyard hook #7740 3501
Directions
1) String 4 beads onto the nylon filament. Bead #2 is designated with the star(*)
2) Take string A and cross through the last bead.
3) Strings A & B will be coming out from opposite ends of the bead, forming circle #1.
4) Add 2 beads to string A. Add 1 bead to string B.
5) Take string B and cross through the last bead on string A.
6) This forms circle #2.
7) Take string B and add 2 beads. Add 1 bead to string A.
8) Take string A and cross through the last bead on string B.
9) This forms circle # 3.
10) Add 1 bead to string A. Add 1 bead to string B.
11) Take string A & string B and cross through the second bead (*) in circle #1.
12) This forms circle #4 and joins the 2 ends of the row of beads together, forming a beaded tube.
13) Your design is now becoming dimensional.
14) Add 1 bead to string A and 2 beads to string B. Here is a sideview. Notate (*) for bead 2 of first circle. Take string A and cross through the last bead on string B forming a circle, 2-1
15) Continue these steps two more times to make 2 more circles, 2-2 & 2-3.
16) Add 1 bead to string A. Add 1 bead to string B.
17) Take string A and string B and cross through the second bead from the first circle(*) next to the first beaded tube.
18) This forms circle 2-4 and another beaded tube
19) Take string A and string back into the last bead on string B in circle 2-4. Take string B and string back into the last bead on string A in circle 2-4.
20) Take string A and string B and cross through the last bead from circle 2-3. Now you can begin your last beaded tube to form the heart, which already has two circles formed.
21) Add 1 bead to string A. Add 2 beads to string B.
22) Take string A and cross through the last bead on string B. This forms circle 3-1.
23) Add 1 bead to string A. Add 1 bead to string B.
24) Take strings A and B and cross through the last bead in circle 3.
25) This forms the final circle and beaded tube.
26) String A through the bead and the second bead in circle 1 (*). String B through bead and the second bead in circle 1(*).
27) Finishing – Knot strings A & B together securely. String 20 seed beads onto string A. Take string B and cross through all 20 seed beads. Knot strings A & B securely. Slip the loose string ends into a few more beads and cut off the excess strings to hide ends. Hang from seed bead loop as is or attach a lanyard hook.
