Directions for the Card Cut a piece of cardstock to measure 8-7/8" x 5-5/8". Fold in half and score, creating a card that measures 4-3/8" x 5-5/8". Ink hearts brayer roller with red ink, then roll across front flap of card. Allow to dry. Using ShapeCutter™ and Hearts ShapeTemplate™ (with a craft mat), cut one 2½" and one 2" heart. Trace around edges of each heart with embossing pen, then sprinkle glitter embossing powder around edges. Tap excess powder off, then use embossing tool to emboss. Trim around top, right, and bottom edges of front flap of card with heartstrings paper edgers. Trace along these 3 edges with embossing pen, then sprinkle glitter embossing powder around edges and emboss. Press cotton ball onto red dye ink pad. Stamp cotton ball onto scrap paper to get excess ink off. Drag cotton ball along top, right and bottom edges of the inside of back flap of card to create a "chalky" red border about ½" wide. Print out "Be Mine" using a computer font package, or (optionally) stamp "Be Mine" onto cream cardstock. Trim cardstock to measure 3¼" x 1½". Punch each corner with 3-in-1 Hearts Corner Punch. Use photo stickers to adhere this piece of cardstock onto red handmade paper. Tear handmade paper approximately ¼" larger than the cream cardstock. Use double sided foam tape to adhere hearts and "Be Mine" cardstock piece to front of card. Tie ribbon into bow. Use small piece of foam tape to adhere bow to front of card also.
Directions for the Envelope Use ShapeCutter™ and Envelope ShapeTemplate™ (with craft mat) to cut envelope from cream paper. Trim flap with heartstrings paper edgers. Trace along flap edge with embossing pen, then sprinkle red glitter embossing powder along edge. Tap excess powder off, then emboss. Assemble envelope by adhering flaps with photo stickers. |
