DIRECTIONS: Trace and cut
out pieces from felt according to the
patterns. Cut a piece of
chenille stem approx. 6” long and lay it across one body piece
from arm to arm. Glue chenille in place. Take another 6” of
chenille stem and bend in a curve. Place the chenille on the body
from leg to leg. Glue chenille stem in place. Place the 2 body
pieces together with the glued chenille stems in between and glue
pieces together around the edges. Cut 2 pieces of
chenille stem 3” long. Take one of the bunny headpieces and lay
the chenille stems down on the middle of the ears and glue in
place. Place the 2 headpieces together and glue around edges
leaving a small opening. Lightly stuff head with a small amount of
fiberfill. Glue opening closed. Center the pink inner ears onto
the ears and glue in place. Place head onto body between the arms,
positioning so that the bunny is lying down on its tummy. Glue in
place at the neck. Glue the 2
1” white pom poms together at the lower half of the
bunny’s face for the muzzle. Glue the pink ¼” pom pom to the
top middle of the muzzle. Glue the moving eyes above the muzzle.
Glue the 1.5” White pom pom on the back for a tail. Make a loopy
bow with the ribbon and glue to the back of the bunny’s neck. Wrap the bunny’s arms around the sheer carrot bag top by overlapping the chenille wired arms securely around the gathered bag closure. |
