Directions:

Use your paper trimmer to cut a 12” x 8” piece from the printed-paper. Place the paper in the trimmer so that it is measuring out 4” on each side and use the measurements on the trimmer to make a slit between the 3” and 9” marks in the middle (Fig. 1)

Take the paper and fold it in half lengthwise so that it is now 12” x 4”, crease well. Fold it in half vertically so that it is now 6” x 8”, crease well. Fold it in half one more time so that it is now 3” x 8”, crease well. Unfold. Take the paper and fold it in half lengthwise so that it is now 12” x 4”, crease well. Now, pull the middle sections with the slits, outwards and flatten (Fig. 2). It should now look like an “X” or cross. Re-fold and flatten into a book shape.

Now, you can embellish your book’s pages, as you want. Use the 1” circle punches and adhere two together along the page edges for tabs.
