Directions

Cut out the mug die shape using the Accu Cut Die cutting system at the Ben Franklin Craft store.
 

Cut out the mug front from a coordinating cardstock (solid or printed). If you want to use the mug front as an card insert for inside the mug, cut another one out as well.

Fold the mug shape at the center line and crease well to create the mug into a card. Unfold the mug shape. On the wrong side of the top flap (side without the mug handle) place double stick tape along the bottom and open side edge. Run the tape as close to the edge as possible. Remove the protective covering from the tape and fold the top flap back into place to form the mug, creating a pocket.

Center the coordinating mug front on top and adhere with tape. Add any additional embellishments you desire.

Fill the pocket of the mug with treats or a gift card.
