Pattern

Directions

Trace and cut out pieces from felt according to the patterns.

Place the white tummy piece onto one of the body pieces as shown on the pictured sample. Glue in place. Take one orange chenille stem piece and bend and twist to form three “toes” Repeat with the other chenille stem. Place at the bottom of the body and glue end of the stems behind. Place body onto the other body piece and glue together, sandwiching the stem ends between.

Take the white face piece and center onto one of the head pieces. Glue in place. Place the two eyes onto the face and glue in place. Place the beak below the eyes and glue in place. Lastly, place a red circle on either side of the beak for the cheeks and glue in place. Take the 6” of ribbon or cording and knot the ends together t make the hanger. Place the knotted end behind the top of the head and glue in place, so that the loop is sticking out at the top. Place the completed head onto the remaining head piece and glue together, sandwiching the knot between.

Place a wing on either side of the body at the top and glue in place. Place the head on top of the body and glue in place. Make a small bow from the ribbon and glue in below the neck.
