Directions

Take a moment to review all instructions on product packaging before beginning this project.

Notes: PermEnamel, the only air-dry paint that does not require heat setting, is a polyester-based and DOES NOT mix with water. PermEnamel is not intended for use on surface with food contact. You may clean your brushes with soap and water between applications, but make certain they are completely dry before moving to the next color.

Surface preparation is very important. Clean plate and mug with soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Apply PermEnamel Surface Conditioner with a clean, dry brush. Let dry. Do not rinse or wipe off.

Apply Adhesive to the back of the stencil. Position stencil on the plate.

Pour a puddle of Cotton Candy Pink on the paper plate. Dip the sponge in the paint and pat off excess. Using an up and down pouncing motion stencil the words and hearts on the plate. Carefully remove the stencil. Reposition the stencil and continue stenciling around the plate.

Position the stencil on the mug. Stencil the design in Cotton Candy Pink.

Cut the compressed sponge in a ½" square. Wet the sponge and ring out the excess. Dip the square into Red Red. Stamp checks around the base of the mug.

Using the Stencil and Stamp Sponge paint the handle of the mug Red Red.

Allow the paint to dry for 10 days before washing.
