Supplies

1½" x 2" Brown Foamie
1" x 1" Flesh Foamie
¾" x 1¼" Red Foamie
1" x 6" Green Foamie
2 - 5 mm Moving Eyes
4" of black/brown wire (24 or 26 gauge)
Black fine tip permanent marker
Pin back
Low temp glue gun and glue sticks
Wire cutters
Sharp scissors

Directions

Trace and cut out pieces from foamie according to the patterns.

Glue the flesh colored face onto the monkey's head. Glue the eyes above the face. use the black fine tip marker to draw in a a nose and mouth.

Lay the bamboo stalks across each other at an angle. Glue together. Position the monkey onto the bamboo and glue. Use the marker to write "2004" or another message onto the red foamie. Glue the sign along the lower part of the monkey.

Use the marker to add detail lines to the bamboo. Glue the leaves onto the bamboo stalks.

Curl the 4" of wire into a spiral for the monkey's tail. Glue the back of the monkey. Glue the pin back behind the monkey.
